Well I finally succumbed and ordered a new Sony K800i camera phone from www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk. I ordered on Sunday evening and was hoping that it would be delivered today ( Tuesday ), but when I checked this morning the order status had changed from Awaiting Despatch to Awaiting Stock Allocation ! The problem with this phone at the moment is that the demand is outstripping supply and most of the online stores seem to be quoting up to a week for delivery…

In the meantime I have been looking at some examples of photos taken on this phone ( I have bought it as a handy compact digital camera more than for its phone capabilities ! ). The quality of the examples I have seen so far is very impressive and certainly exceeds my old Sony T610 by a good margin !!
