MusicThe BPI ( British Phonographic Industry ) have recently written letters to several UK ISP’s requesting that certain individuals accounts should be terminated due to alleged evidence of copyright infringements.

One of the ISP’s, Tiscali, have kindly refused this request on the basis of a lack of actual presented evidence of any wrong doings and have openly complained of the BPI’s “grandstanding”. The BPI apparently released the letters that were sent to the ISP’s to the British press concurrently, giving the ISP’s no time to study the request or provide a response before the media circus began.

Congrats to Tiscali on not allowing themselves to be strong armed by the BPI, and tsk tsk to the BPI…. Will they ever learn ?
