At last the UK telecoms regulator Ofcom appears to be seeing sense and is investigating the current legislation that makes the use of devices like the iTrip illegal in the UK. If all goes to plan it could be legal to buy FM Transmitters for iPods by 2007, which is good news for many car owners who would like to use these devices but are worried about the possiblity of a 2 year prison sentence !
