Sony Ericsson K800iWell so far I am pretty impressed. Picked up the phone on Saturday morning just before heading up to friends in Liverpool for the day. Saturday was a baking hot day and the kids were all out playing in the garden so had the opportunity to try out some action shots…

Have a look at Flickr on my K800i set for examples of what I have taken so far.

Later on Saturday evening with the kids in bed I sat down to have a go at downloading the photos onto my iMac and also to have a better look at the other features of the phone. Setting up a Bluetooth link was easy enough, just followed the ‘Setup a Bluetooth Device’ wizard ( from the menu bar on OSX ). Transferring the photos was then a simple matter of going into the Camera Album on the K800i ( Under Media Album on the K800i main menu ), selecting the option to ‘Mark All’ from the More menu and then selecting Send Via Bluetooth. The images transferred quickly and easily and were dumped directly into my home folder from where I could import into iPhoto before uploading to Flickr (using the FlickrExport plugin for iPhoto).

Ok, so the easy stuff out of the way, what about trying to use iSync to synchronise my Address Book and iCal details ? That was a little trickier ( though not impossible ), I will post an article on how I did this next !
