Well so far I am pretty impressed. Picked up the phone on Saturday morning just before heading up to friends in Liverpool for the day. Saturday was a baking hot day and the kids were all out playing in the garden so had the opportunity to try out some action shots…
Have a look at Flickr on my K800i set for examples of what I have taken so far.
Later on Saturday evening with the kids in bed I sat down to have a go at downloading the photos onto my iMac and also to have a better look at the other features of the phone. Setting up a Bluetooth link was easy enough, just followed the ‘Setup a Bluetooth Device’ wizard ( from the menu bar on OSX ). Transferring the photos was then a simple matter of going into the Camera Album on the K800i ( Under Media Album on the K800i main menu ), selecting the option to ‘Mark All’ from the More menu and then selecting Send Via Bluetooth. The images transferred quickly and easily and were dumped directly into my home folder from where I could import into iPhoto before uploading to Flickr (using the FlickrExport plugin for iPhoto).
Ok, so the easy stuff out of the way, what about trying to use iSync to synchronise my Address Book and iCal details ? That was a little trickier ( though not impossible ), I will post an article on how I did this next !

2The sony ericsson k800i is an amazing phone. Although it may not have every single feature out there its still a winner because the features it does have work great. Me being a phone critic and all. Ive never used the sync before as im afraid of something going wrong along the way and acidently reverse syncing. I dont wanna lose my phonebook on my phone. Call me stuiped but i know computers too and if theres a chance of something going wrong, with me it usually does. Sorry im not of any assistance but might give you something to think about.
