The main event in the Shropshire area this weekend is of course the 2006 edition of the increasingly popular V Festival.

This years Headliners are Radiohead and Morrisey who will be supported by the usual array of varied acts including Faithless, Keane, Razorlight, The Cardigans, Paul Weller, Hard Fi and many more.

According to the Festival web site there are still a limited number of camping and day tickets available, hopefully the weather will hold out and the event will be another success.
